Ohio Cattlemen's Monitoring Tariffs Possible Impacts on Beef Products

Concerns exist over how tariffs will impact prices

The state's largest beef cattle expo recently occurred at the Ohio Expo Center, drawing approximately 30,000 attendees over four days.

The event took place against a backdrop of potential economic uncertainty, as beef is among the products facing retaliatory tariffs from Canada and Europe.

"We are getting a lot of questions and so we are closely monitoring that issue. It's very fluid," said Elizabeth Harsh, executive director of the Ohio Cattlemen's Association. "That is something we will continue to give advice as we get questions and work with our national organization to address any concerns."
